How useful?
When baby is not continent, you use panties with insert and lining, it's waterproof.
When baby starts to be continent but there is still need for protection, you can remove the lining and it still remains a little waterproof thanks to the wool of the panties.
Once baby is continent, just cut with a simple pair of scissors the pressure strips in the panties, you get a panty "like big ones".

How to dress baby?
With a pair of hives and a HNI T-shirt and washable layers with wide elastic band, you have a baby warm, even winter, and to whom you can quickly propose to eliminate.
You can slide an insert with lining and thus increase absorption and impermeability.
