Lamb skin, warm and soft, has long been used for babies and children to isolate them from the cold without sweating them, to promote sleep, and to practice the Elimination Communication.

Also used at all ages to bring comfort to those who are alone, for example, or for the softness and warmth brought on a sofa, armchair or bed.

Lamb skin has many advantages:
- it regulates the temperature,
- it has a great capacity to absorb moisture,
- it is naturally antibacterial and neutralizes odors,

- anti-allergic,

- suitable for sensitive skin.

Naturally rich in lanoline, dirt does not penetrate wool fibers. You will sustainably keep this lamb skin.

Tanning used for skins Ecopitchoun is Relugan. It is a medical tanning perfectly adapted to babies and children, which is made in Germany.

There are no heavy metals, no azoic, no formaldehyde, no pentachlorophenol.

The family-run company since 1978, has selected the skins of the best qualities of European eco-fermes (Germany, Holland, Sweden).

Basic maintenance:
Lamb skin is easy to maintain thanks to its self-cleaning properties with open air.
Brush your skin regularly and air on the edge of the window, or in the garden.

HNI maintenance is simple : if there is urine, you put the skin to dry and shake to remove the dust. It is ready to be used again.
If you need to detach, prefer the "peaceful" sun. That is to say, when the sun is burning in the summer season.

If you need to wash it:
Avoid washing your skin, but if necessary the Relugan tanning allows a machine wash at 30°C. However, prefer hand wash, in a bathtub for example, to keep the original look as much as possible. Soak the skin flat in the bottom of the bath using a special wool laundry with lanoline. Then press it to evacuate the water but do not dry. Then you put the skin to dry in the open air but not under a burning sun or next to a wood or radiator heating. Throughout the drying, stretch the skin so that it resumes its original form. If you want to use a dryer, what we advise you, put it in very little time, on the mildest mode, and stretch it then.
