SPIRULINE, ALGUE REVOLUTIONNAIRE!

To recover quickly from a childbirth, to evacuate the fatigue of a breastfeeding mother, nothing like spirulina! Cf article “Babe breastfeeding: sleeping after delivery”
It is a completely natural food that allows the body to fill all the nutritional deficiencies caused by pregnancy, breastfeeding or a unbalanced diet.

It is a very complete food since it only lacks iodine and vitamin C (natural vitamin C, click here).
Vegetarians eat them to complete their diet.
All foods have a kind of envelope that protects them and that our body must "break" to assimilate them. The spirulina is very assimilable because it does not have an envelope, so it is very digestive.
If you have hemorrhoids, avoid consuming too much spirulina, prefer smaller doses than you will adapt as you go. The spirulina is very rich in iron, which constipates! It is also ideal because it is a concentrate of calcium and magnesium.
If this is the first time that you consume it, it is best to do a cure (in order to overcome the deficiencies of your body) at 1 tablespoon per person per day.
As soon as you have eaten your first spoon of spirulina, you will immediately feel a satiety effect. It is often used in hyper-protein diets.
If, for any reason, you stop your cure before your body has finished regenerating, you will feel great fatigue. Then take the cure as soon as possible to feel better. You will have filled all your deficiencies when your body no longer needs a spirulina, that is, when you can stop taking it without getting tired as soon as you stop it.
The spirulina also allows breastfeeding mothers to better resist fatigue and to increase milk. Indeed, to make a good rise of milk, you have to rest. And in addition, the body requires a lot of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc. whose body can be cared for after pregnancy. Give it the necessary elements for a good operation allows it to rebooster the rise of milk.
You can find it in the form of granules, powders or tablets, depending on tastes!

You would enjoy it with salted dishes, or swallow it with a glass of water.
Spirulina is sometimes sold as a food supplement...trust!
It is intended for the whole family because children and babies too can eat it. Just adjust the dose to their weight. If an adult takes 1 cs, then a child will take about 1cc. You will have to observe the stools of your pitchoun to find out if it needs more or less, and adapt.
This food is, like any food, not a drug and therefore has no known contraindication. However, spirulina can be uncommon if your body has too much calcium or too much iron.
There are many "farms" of spirulina that practice broken prices. Ecopitchoun you strongly advise it: spirulina is a freshwater seaweed that feeds on water and it must be of very good quality to allow the spirulina to become this extraordinary food. In addition, buying the closest spirulina at home avoids transport, and therefore the gasoil consumed for delivery.
Buying spirulina as tablets allows you to swallow it without feeling the taste if you do not appreciate it.

It is the Spiruline Farm of the Balmes that made me discover this food and below is an explanatory text of their work, and their vision of the spirulina, which is of course not reserved for mothers because the whole family, at any age, can consume it. Good reading is very edifying!

The farm of SPIRULINE des Balmes

The spirulina is a small algae (0.3 minutes long), of the Cyaniphycée species (cyanobacteria Arthrospira Platensis – Spirulina Maxima), creating oxygen on our Earth since the night of time.
Harvested, fresh and drained, it looks like clay of a beautiful spinach green.
It is followed by humans through its history: A venerated PROTEIN of the Aztecs and Mayas in Mexico; it is still today harvested by the Kanembous in the salty lakes of northern Chad.
It is discovered by the ESA which studies it for space trips (Melias program). It is produced industrially (China, California, Hawaii, Cuba), and sold as "ALIMENTAL COMPLEMENT", while humanitarian workers are working to implement this exceptional ALIMENT to help communities to be autonomous in the fight against hunger. In France, small productions are emerging.

Small producers (rents and non-subsidized) we grow Spiruline in Herault on a wild site. Our choices led us to produce a very good Spirulina for a reasonable price (less than 0.70 cents per day and per person):

  1. our business approach is direct and devoid of superfluous; packaging of our products is simple (cellophane from the plant or hermetic plastic (according to testing) and paper).
  2. our production infrastructure is eco-friendly with traditional manufacturing methods: Spiruline is unmanipulated and remains naturally grouped. Dried by natural convection ventilation, less than 40°C, our Spiruline is in its simplest and least oxidized form, GRANULES that we sprinkle on the diet (soupe, salad, vegetables, cereals, pasta, ...), due to a well-shaped soup spoon per day (5grs) (Ex: 100grs = 20 days of protein) which can be spread over 3 meals, or increased according to the weight, effort or general state of the people.

A SOURCE OF AUSSI ECONOMIC PROTECTED FOR THE TERRE

If we were to consume the plant proteins rather than animals, we would quickly have enough food for all: 55% of the production of plant proteins in the world are used to feed the cattle, and a beef gives 12 times of food than the cereals it has consumed... (more livestock creates deforestation).

In tradition, Spiruline is an ALIMENT. It is a complete alternative to meat.
Not only does it give powerful proteins, but in addition, the body does not need to consume energy to assimilate them (it has no cellulosic walls)
Known by science as antioxidant, it is full of various vital elements, which support the physical and nervous effort, fight anemia, psoriasis, herpes, Kwashiorkor and participate in improving the immune response, vision, mucous membranes, skin, hair, intestinal flora, digestion, flammation, regulation of the nervous system.

The granules melt in cold water, fruit juice or soup, .

Salads : melt the granules in a little cold water at the bottom of the salad bowl and season, put the salad – mix.
- or, if you like the cracking side of granules: sprinkle them on the seasoned salad.
Hot sausages : cook a cereal or vegetables; during this time melt tomatoes, onion and garlic in a pancake. At the end of the cooking, sprinkle dry spirulina. Serve on cooked and well drained cereals.
Cold sausages : you have blinis, pancakes, good bread or at the best of germinated seeds: in a bowl, put on Spirulina, cover with water, (or milk, cream – Soya – white cheese, yogurt) with some herbs – spread your blinis, pancakes or bread – or pour your sauce on the germinated seeds.
Soup : in your served soup, sprinkle the Spiruline, mix.
BON APPETIT!

Here, we ask you to let the humanitarians know that it is possible to initiate this culture free of charge in order to implant it in the poor and hot countries (to have a sustainable development project – implantation and links with village). Spirulina’s culture is an exemplary nutrient and agronomically: it does not produce any discharge of effluent into the phreactic substances; it needs less water than other crops, its need for surface is reduced (Spiruline = 10 to 20 tonnes/ha – cereal = 4 tonnes/ha – soy = 2.5 tonnes/ha – beef = 0.15 tonnes/ha) and does not need fuel (1kg beef meat = 7 litres of oil...); its production can be crafted, using a lot of labour and little investment of heavy equipment.
