copy of Protect'Hop small
The "Protect'Hop" system is a little expensive and very convenient to practice' Elimination Communication (HNI) or to accompany babies to continence. The Protect'Hop agrees from birth to continence, from day to night.
This system consists of these 3 elements : the protect'hop, the baby blanket, the belt. Here only the wool part is sold, with the option with or without belt. You will find the baby blankets in the same section.
Tips : the Protect'Hop is particularly appreciated when you practice the' Elimination Communication (HNI) and are not available, for example in output. To propose to her baby or bambin to eliminate, it is enough to open the front part.
L’ Elimination Communication (HNI) is also facilitated as the system stays attached to baby size, so no need to find where to place it.
The Protect'Hop is used with the label visible behind.
How to dress baby : leggings are the most convenient and keep baby legs warm. No tights or material that "press" Protect'Hop. Just a pair of leggings, socks and slippers if necessary, and a t-shirt and/or sweater at the top for example for cool weather.
Note : the Protect'hop is not waterproof, as would be plastic, it is just waterproof once released. It is intended to hold some pee (2-3) newborn, then 1 pee when baby urine a larger quantity. The Protect'hop does not have the amount of absorption of a washable layer. To increase its impermeability, for example for nap, you can increase the absorption capacity by posing another baby blanket above the first.
Composition maintenance : the Protect'Hop is 100% boiled wool. The pressures are in resin. Belts and belts baby blankets are 100% organic cotton certified Oeko-tex S100. For the belt: wash at 40° recommended, drying in open air. For baby blankets : 60° machine, open-air drying, no bleach, maximum absorption capacity reached at the end of 10 washing/drying.
For the Protec'Hop, how to lanolise? To maintain the wool, and its waterproofness, we must dip the wool articles for 3-4 hours in: 1 lanoline bath cap or lanoline impregnation in 3-4 litres of water at ambient T°. Then dry the article delicately, and dry it flat. If you want to accelerate drying, roll the item in a sponge towel and dry gently. Once dry, wool fibers are thus gained from the natural grease of sheep wool and the maintenance is then facilitated as the fiber is protected by this sheath: when the Protect'Hop is wet or wet, no need to wash it every time. Just dry it out in the open air, and shake it once the particles have become dust. After several uses, you can wash the Protect'Hop with a special wool laundry, at 30° by hand, drying in open air, no bleach. As soon as you see it loses again in waterproofness, you can redo a lanoline bath (on average every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on your use).
