Made in artisanal France. These protections are on the edge of the potties Elimination Communication HNI, which allows baby not to have the skin in contact with the cold and rigidity of the potty. Cold contact is often the reason why babies do not appreciate the potties. It's also more comfortable when baby is teeting, or at night when it's in a half-sommeil. The protective fabric sold with the potty sold is made of merino wool, guaranteed without mulesing, all soft, and with self-cleaning properties. It is used to avoid the cold contact of potty with baby skin, so baby remains relaxed and can be relieved.

This fabric is also used to avoid overflowing: baby sometimes tends to slightly moisten the fabric, either to absorb with absorbent cotton or to dry and use another replacement fabric. Once dry, you'll only have to shake to remove the dust. Indeed, wool fibres are sheathed from lanoline and nothing penetrates. However, you can sometimes wash them by hand under warm water with a soft soap and a little lanoline afterwards. See lanoline here.

Maintenance: see above. If necessary, wash at 30°C, no dryer, no bleach. Natural wool untreated to pass into a machine (not superwash), already lanolized.
